wow, only 16g? i wont even be thinking bout getting that till they up it to at least 80 or as mentioned by a few others 160

It is not HDD, it is flash. And that is also why the ZEN is better. SD card support. Therefore it is unlimited in size. And Itunes AAC-DRM free support too.

You mean, like, it can play unprotected MP3s that are bought from somewhere else than the itunes store? My iPod can do that too!

At the same time Apple mentioned their whole new lineup of Ipods. Seems to me that news didn't offset the Iphone price decrease news.

Soo.... Here's a questions for all of you: If you had $500 to spend on a MP3/Movie player, iPod, Zune, whatever... what would you buy?

I've been wanting an iPod Video or a Zune.. but havent decided which to buy. I was kinda hoping the price would come down a $100 or so.

I don't own any wmas though.

EDIT: I take that back. After further investigation, I did have WMAs. Itunes converted them to AAC so I could listen to them on my iPod. The result is still the same, I can listen to music files that were ripped as WMAs in my ipod.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day for Apple. Todays keynote basically gave the finger to at least half a million 'early adopters' of the iPhone. 33% price reduction after just 11 weeks on the market. Just wow. I wouldn't be surprised to see AAPL drop at the opening of the market tomorrow based on overnight 'blogger' reaction. I'm poised to buy
