My 3GS is about to give up the ghost, anyway. This is a great time to upgrade, for me. Sure, I'd like a bigger screen but I can live without it. My biggest concern is the lack of processing speed on my current 3GS, so the dual processors in the 4S are a huge selling point.

what apps are using that will be able to take advantage of the dual processor? I am unaware of any apps on the market developed for Dual core processors

I can't say I'm disappointed at all. I have the 4 and it is night and day better than the 3G. The screen is awesome and personally the size and feel in my hand is perfect. The EVO to me is like a brick. I'll probably upgrade just because.

I really don't know what the big deal is. Some people are disappointed because they EXPECTED something different. It's like a kid on Christmas morning disappointed that he didn't get the Red Rider BB gun he's been wanting all winter. Why does there have to be all this pre-hype anyway? People must have a lot of free time on their hands because they're trying to figure out what's cooking in Apple's oven.

The only thing about waiting for the iPhone 5 is that a little while later, the iPhone 6 will be out! It never, ever ends.

I was a little disappointed there was no iPhone5, but after watching the apple keynote I'm excited about the new iOS to work on my iPhone4. I think Siri is still in it's early phase so I'm not sure how great it'll work. The new notification system looks almost perfect and the camera upgrade is sweet. I'm not sure I'll upgrade when I'm eligible in December, but I'm definitely considering it. The iPhone4 is still such a great phone.
I was one of those people who was expecting a bigger screen and a slimmer shape, but in all honesty I can live without it. Apple is about changing the way you use your devices, simply making it bigger isn't necessarily progress. Besides, those are practically guaranteed when the 5 does come out. Bigger isn't always better.

I'm on a 3gs and I love the design of the 4s, I never liked the thought of a teardrop shaped phone. It will be mine.
