The new iOS kicks ass. A couple of snags moving my MobileMe account to iCloud, but everything is now groovy. I'd like to thank Android and their users for challenging Apple into making better products. The competition is good and the users win, no reason for hating here.
very true. The only thing I am hating on is sprint. They are going to charge me a 4g fee for the iphone. F that. I'll keep my crappy flip phone mang that or get the LG marquee. Love the I phone though...
The new ios 5.0 has a ton of new features (releasd on Wednesday). Since I got an iphone 4 a week ago I doubt if I'm upgrading. :)
I like the non-tethered syncing and also the notification pull-down like android has.
i still have yet to do the ios upgrade y'alls are talking about. i don't plug the phone into the pc often, but i'll do it soon.
my husband got the 4s from his work today! i didn't get a chance to look at it though because he had to split for a work meeting tonight. can't wait though...
I just got my 64gb phone today, got it restored after the Reign game and I'm loving it. I really wanted the 32gb but they were out of them at the place I went to. I'd take that 4 back RR and get the 4s I think Siri is going to be a real winner for the iPhones. I know android has a similar thing but this is apples deal now.
It won't let me paste the URL but check out

i took a quick peak at my husband's phone and don't notice anything that really stands out. i also installed the new ios system and it is pretty neat. i like the layout of some of the things a lot better now.
it is pretty cool that he's up to speed now and can do face time calls with our kid.
in regards to the 4gs being a true world phone now, is that only applicable to verizon users? i could've sworn my husband was able to use his 3 (at&t) in mexico a couple months ago.
The cell phone technology used by AT&T and T-Mobile is also used throughout the rest of the world. Verizon (Sprint?) uses CDMA for it's cell phone technology. It is not compatible with the GSM system so it will not work in other countries. Apple made GSM available in every AT&T iPhone since the first one. Apple had to make a CDMA iPhone when it was launched on Verizon. With the Verizon iPhone 4S, Apple made it with both technologies in the phone in order for it to work outside the U.S.
oooh, thanks for the explanation, i totally understand now. i was able to use internets on my phone via wifi in mexico but i never attempted to make calls so i wasn't sure. my husband used his for work (calls and internets) and i didn't pay any attention to his business because i was too busy having fun so that also made me unsure, but now i know! :)
