I don't know if anyone else has brought this up, because I don't have time to read the whole thread, but I was very disappointed in my new 4s,
because it looks just the same as my old iPhone 4. Now when I pull it out of my pocket in a crowd, no one will even know that I am better than them...

I got mine here: "Los Angeles Kings - Crown" Kings design on iPhone 4 / 4S Slider Case by Coveroo in White

mine is the engraved one, rather than the colored one. it's a nice case too!

I like how the Siri made his dictated notes into "IPhone 4 ass".

So yesterday afternoon I slice my finger open on a broken glass. (Was washing out a cheap glass they give you when you buy a bottle of booze ...) Blood starts pouring out projectile-vomit style. I press one button, say "nearest urgent care" and in seconds have a list of everything closeby. That little manuever would have been much more drama on my EVO, with only one hand.

The only beef I have so far with the phone is the placement of the silent button on the side, I seem to be hitting it sometimes inadvertantly... Oh, and using the maps app for navigation is no fun.

Overall, I am happy I picked it up. Anyone have a recommendation for a good navigation app or one to scan/itemize receipts?

Mapquest and Waze are good free navigation apps.

I'm fine with my 3gs. I've never had a problem with it and it performs the duties I need it to. Why do I need a new phone? I don't. I do need to upgrade to he IOS5 for it though.
My next purchase will be the Apple TV. It's got a mirror function that will show whats on my iStuff. Apparently it will communicate with iPhones, iPads & iPod touches. This way I can play Angry Birds and Street Fighter IV on my flatscreen.

A real world review of Siri

    The funnier side of Siri.
thanks. my husband used siri for the first time a few days ago.

it was funny listening to him chuckle at it as he cursed at her. at one point he said "you're stupid" and she replied "i respect you". haha. i gotta think of some good things to say to it and see how she responds.

I've had my iPhone 4S for about a week now. It's amazing! I drive for a living so the Siri app is perfect for me. I connect my phone via Bluetooth and I'm off and running! All I have to do is say "play Rancid" and it does! If a text comes in, "read text" and it does! I had a Droid X, which is a pretty good phone. The 4S is flipping awesome! I'm a very, very happy guy! It also works effortlessly with my iPad 2 and my Apple TV. Good times, indeed....

I read an article that asked the question "is Siri pro life?", it's a fun little read and also funny to ask it to find the nearest escort to you.
Apple iPhone 4S' Siri can find you hookers in your neighborhood. Siri can find you Viagra. Siri can find you a local surgeon to give you breast implants. But apparently it can't find abortion clinics.
Is Siri Pro Life? Apparently Yes (Updated)
