Thread: New IPod Nano

Do you like it?

Pros & Cons please..............

I don't use the video on the "Classic" ipod because the 2.5" screen is too small. Can't imagine why anyone would buy a video nano with a 2" screen. Being only 8 gigs at the most doesn't leave much room for video files, either. I guess if you don't own an ipod yet and want the smaller nano, the video is just gravy.

the nano is smaller than it has to be. I have a 2nd gen nano and it's too tiny. The new ones look way to small for me to ever be interested in owning. Heck, for $100 more you may as well go for an 8gb iPod touch.

I have one. It is great. I decided it is better than the Creative ZEN. Since the screen is so small the pixel density is great and the colors are really good. Browsing through the menu is fun. The album artwork effects are gravy.

Cons - it is small but so what. It is very portable and light as a feather. Oh yeah the headphones that come with it sucks.

BTW I never owned an Apple product before.

I own the 8 gig 2nd gen. I wouldn't want video. I think it is a waste. You get the Nano because of its small size. If you want video, get the bigger one.

The screen is bigger than the 2nd gen Nano. It is not just for video but for the menu system and album effects. Watching 5 minute videos on it is fine. Watching a whole movie on either a Nano or a Touch or a Classic is dumb. All the screens are too small.

I don't like anything short and fat. Gimme the slightly older, tall, skinny one and I'm good.

I've played with both. The new one is 100 times better. Oh and cheaper too.
