I just downloaded itunes 8 since 9 doesn't have the option to turn off album artwork for the ipod anymore. It wouldn't run without QT though. They have all the way back to version 4.1 so once you find the answer you have the link to download it.
yeah. that oldversion site would be my first option, as long as I know which Itunes version doesn't need to have the ****in CPU hogging QT running at the same time.
