Default Removing a macro from a Word 2007 file (from a template)

I made a new resume using a template, but it has some macro in it that allows you to upload directly to monster.com from the file. I don't want/need this macro, I want to be able to send this file to potential employers. When I click on developer > macros to try to delete the macro called AutoExec, it says "Sub or Function not defined". Is there any other way I can get rid of it?

When you have vba open are you deleting the macro from the template document or the new file you created?

I tried doing it both ways. I wasn't able to find the module in VBA. It was some weird macro that added a Monster.com tab whenever I opened the file.

However, my dumb ass just tried to copy and paste all the data and I was able to just transfer all the text to a new document and keep the same formatting. That worked lol and now the macro is gone. I feel shame.
