Unfortunately, the typical Apple user buys Mac for its immense (over hyped, perhaps) popularity. These users are probably the same idiots who were previously using Windows machines and clicking on spam email and visiting questionable sites. The current low level of spyware, viruses, worms, etc. on OS X coupled with Apple's "golden ticket to do what you please when you're on a f'n computer" sales pitch will come to an end. When, who knows? Granted, Apple's market share hovers around 10%, and this is why so many hackers have refused to focus any major attention to the Mac side, but I hope Apple has a better answer than those nifty Mac vs. PC ads when viruses, worms, etc. for OS X becomes the norm.
As for me, I've been using Mac since I was a teen. I have no problems with PCs, but I'll always be a Mac faithful. Heck, I've played with Windows 7 over the last week (MSDN) and I like it a lot. However, VMWare Fusion is all I need when I need to "work" on a PC.
