Thread: tapatalk

this is an android/iphone app that makes it a lot easier to read forums.

i think that the forum owner needs to do something to get it setup.

i think this could be great as i think that there a number of forum users that have an iphone and the number of android owners is only going to go up.

I'm pretty sure I can add this but I was leary because you have to use an app.

I'm gonna move this to the Comp forum so the experts can help.

I was going to start a similar thread about phones and message boards. I see a lot of you posting via mobil. I find it cumbersome on the phone. What about Facebook, I have an app but it seems like message boards and those types of web pages are best on a big screen.

You have to use an app to access the board (as a user). Or you have to install an app to grant tapatalk access to the board?

tapatalk is great for forums. I can take a few pics when I get home and post them later. Otherwise I guess ill have to live with mobile LGK

Considered TapaTalk but the problem is that not everyone wants a mobile app. Not to mention, you'd have to pay $3 for that.

MSH 3.0 will have a mobile skin, and Invision has a mobile app that goes with it available for free in the App Store for iPhone. The mobile skin (w/o the app) can be optimized to whatever user agent comes up when you visit MSH on your phone, and is fully usable (PMs and posting). Also, if you are one of those who wants the full-fledged experience, you will have the ability to switch skins to standard while on your phone.

So, in a nutshell, we've got this covered.

So Taco, and others please chime in what would be best.

nevermind then. i was just looking to see if there was any interest. i really like it. i know that you have to pay $3 for it, but i already bought it cos 5 other forums that i use on a regular basis are tapatalk enabled.
