I was busy playing the first Tomb Raider game instead of studying for the last college finals I'd ever have to take.

I am 100% PUMPED about Tomb Raider: Anniversary! I'll be picking that up on the 5th, for sure!

So, it's just a remake of the original game? That game was ahead of its time and really reinvented the 3rd person action/adventure genre, but not sure I want to play through that game again.

    Maybe on PSP...

No. It's an homage to it. New adventure based on the original's storyline. I'm playing the demo and it's all new.

And the graphics are fantabulous!! Lara Croft looks ****ing HAWT after she comes out of the pools.

    And PSP...

They were probably half way through development when the development tools for PS3 were released. At that point, you either scrap everything and go back to square one, or continue down the development path and hope you can sell a lot more copies on PS2 (35+ million homes in the U.S. own a PS2).

So, how is this game? The first Tomb Raider was the first PS game I actually finished all the way through (Grand Theft Auto III and Twisted Metal: Black being the others).

I popped it in last year, and was instantly hooked for a day before I forced myself to take it out, hide it, and disconnect my PS2, just so I wouldn't waste any more time on it.

I've seen the screen shots, and they are awesome.

This is going to be on 360 too. As downloadable content first and then they will sell the disc.

This game is every bit as addicting as the original. It follows the original's storyline (Lara going after the Scion and all that), but with some new twists and turns here and there. The graphics are un-freaking-believable!! Worth every penny! And it's only $29.99 which is kind of unheard of these days, what with new games going for $50-$60!

    Two more levels to go...
