Would like to watch some stuff I have on my external hard drive through one or both.

I found a piece of software called the PS3 Media server that is made to allow access mac files though the PS3.Quote:

Check and see if there are any firewall ports that need to be opened on the Mac. In Windows 7 you can add the folders you want to share using WMP, and you can host your media quite easily that way. Thats how I have my stuff streaming at home.

I think I'll connect them thru an Ethernet connection to overcome the wireless issues.
