Obviously I've been recording a bunch of the Kings games during the playoffs. I have all the series clinching games saved on my DVR. I'll also record all of the Stanley Cup Finals. What I would like to do is this.....
Take all the recordings off the DVR (for saving space purposes and keeping them long term) and transfer them to my computer. Then what I'd like to do is edit them so that all the commercials and dead time is out of it. So then all I'd have is game play and maybe pre/intermission/post game talk. Then burn them to DVD to have forever.
Is there a relatively simple program that a non tech head like myself could use to accomplish this?
A tech friend of mine said the hardest part is getting them to my PC unless I had a DVR that also burns, I don't have that.
Is it possible? Is it possible for a none really techy guy? And if its technically illegal to do this then I'm just curious and would never do such a thing.
So hypothetically, can I do this w/o spending a tone of money?
