Transferring iphone video to PC

Does anyone else have a hard time watching the video they've tranferred from their iphone to a PC? First of all, it takes forever to transfer even the smallest/shortest video. Then, it won't open with the Window media player. I have to open it with Quicktime. Then, when it finally does open, it's choppy and the sound and video aren't always in sync.

Is this becuase it's an Apple product to a PC? Does anyone have any suggestions? I have over 200 videos I need to move so I can free up space on my phone. Some of the videos are of the Stanley Cup game.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I transfered mine to my photobucket account, video does take a bit to download even with my high speed cable internet.

Ended up tranferring the pictures to my laptop (which doesn't iTunes). The video is in a mpeg format for Window media (which I prefer over quick time). Now my problem is that when I play the video, it's sideways. Not in landscape format (I record most of my video in portrait mode), it's turned sideways. There is no 'rotate' button in playback mode. WTF? So now I have to open them all in window movie maker, then rotate it, then save it. F*** apple.

Does anyone have a better way to rotate the video on playback?

If the videos were purchased from iTunes then simply syncing your iPhone will transfer the videos.
To transfer videos that you had taken from the phone then they would be in the DCIM folder where your photos are all stored, look out for your videos.
