Universal Flash Drives?
So Im trying to get some large files of raw video onto a flash but having issues with mac/pc conversion. For some reason its a big pain the ass because of the large file size(70G broken into smaller subs). Any ideas on how I can get these files from a MAC onto a Flash I can give to someone using a PC to do Video Editing?
Keep the files under 4GB.
Larger files you can either split with something like RAR, for example, or edit into smaller pieces in your NLE of choice first.
Whats the easiest way to compress a .mov file on a mac?
You want to compress or split/span the file? From the previous post, sounds like you want to split. This utility is probably a good place to start, and it's freeware (link to MacUpdate.com rather than the developer site):

OTOH, if you actually want to bundle/archive/compress the file, compression makes the file smaller, but, since the video file is already using its own compression, this generally tends not to shrink the file too much. The very easiest way to compress or archive single or multiple files is to highlight the folder(s) and/or file(s), then control-click or right-click on the folder or files you want to archive and select "Compress [your selected files]" from the contextual pop-up menu.
de nada. I hope that works out for you.
