I bought a brand new 2 meter HDMI cable from Amazon a few days ago for, get this...28 cents. Seriously, it was that cheap. The discount percent said 99.86% off. With shipping it was only $4.87 and took less than 3 days to arrive.

Sweet.
As far as monprice, since they are in Rancho Cucamonga, I always get my cables via USPS one day after I order.
All of my cables are now going to come from there, if I can wait that one whole day. :)
I have a DVI cable from them, 3 HDMI's, and a Toslink. So far, so good.
Now, onto my experience earlier this week.
I am thinking of upgrading my receiver (in fact I may have the WAF for that (after Christmas). So I walk into Ken Crane's in Westminster.
The sales guy informs me they are testing speaker wire. In my mind, I am like "uh oh!". What I should have done was look at the source, and the receiver. Some receivers don't pass digital signals to Zone 2, it has to be analog in for it to be output to Zone 2.
I do know the speakers were B&W 600's for $500/pair.
He then proceeds to have me stand back and listen. Yes, they sounded different.
It looked like the "standard" speaker cable couldn't have been thicker than 20 AWG. The "nicer" speaker cable was nicely insulated (didn't catch the brand).
I should go back to look at the setup a little more in depth, especially since I have my doubts.

The price went up...49 cents now.
Here;s a direct link the retailer he is talking about.

If you live in Valencia, Roger's Systems is an excellent place for cables, adapters and all sorts of bits.
I was wondering who swiped the dust off of this thread.
Anyway, hopefully these flat HDMI cables get produced by a less expensive company. (Atlona's prices are just ridiculous.) I know I could use a few of these on some "under carpet" runs.
