iOS? really? Why not OSi, rather than a Cisco term.
I would rather NOT give my boss the option to video call me. I mean, how do you decline such an request during normal working hours.
Yeah, and this isn't coming to Verizon. However, I can't help but ask the reason why AT&T is allowing customers to upgrade (renew) early??? Is the exclusive arrangement ending soon, and AT&T wants to lock up customers for 2 years NOW, prior to another US carrier offering the iPhone??? Did Apple come to AT&T and say "offer this or we're leaving early".
Does anyone have the iPhone market penetration for countries that don't have this exclusive? I am going to look at U.K., where O2, Orange, and Vodafone all offer the iPhone.
I am about 15 months away from my upgrade at VZW, so I can wait for the iPhone 4G to be announced in June 2011, or grab the latest and greatest Dual Core Snapdragon based phone.
No One you can always say you don't have WiFi so video call won't work. It will not work over the cell towers JUST WiFi
just pre-ordered iPhone 4!!! anyone else??
SE Xperia 10 with 1.6, Dan? No sale for me.

How about the Verizon CEO doing the opening keynote for CES next year??? I know they will discuss LTE, but such a big stage for that??? Has to be something else as well
I get there some apps that will only work on 2.1, Flash and HD video but the upgrade is coming Q1 2011. The 149.00 price WITHOUT rebate is badass.
HONESTLY on a consumer level 95% of user will take it out the box and do very little else, While I get the desire for 2.1 or even 2.2 its not a big deal to the general public.
Example- I was at a Best Buy Mobile today guy walks in says I want an Iphopne4 DO you have it in stock. I ask why he says I don't know its better than my Blackberry. I agree and ask him if he has looked at an Android phone. He says I already have Verizon so I cannot get a discount on a droid phone. I then have to spend 10 minutes explaining the difference between Droid OS and the Moto Droid phones. Bottomline he walked out with a TMO HTC Slide on Android.
I think that is pretty typical of most consumers today. They don't even know the difference between Droid and Android. The difference between 1.6 and 2.1 is way beyond them in most cases
Don't know if you heard Leo this weekend but you can use TIKL for 2 ways radio on Android. If not this is way out nowhere
I also have the X10MiniPro right now and LOVE IT more than the X10 because its so small and has a QWERTY. It only requires a 10 data plan for BT tethering WiFi and corp email.
