Android controls 50% of the market right now i read. I don't think Verizon even needs the Iphone.

Yeah but it's an excellent way to crush your competition. If they got that, AT&T would be relegated to Nextel status.

I have the Droid Inc. Its just a touch screen. No keypad.

I'm thinking of making the switch from AT&T to Verizon. My plan is almost up and my iphone recently broke, so I guess it's time...

Right now i'm thinking about getting the Droid X

I have the X. Its a pretty good phone. A few bugs with the new software, but nothing that would tell you to look elsewhere.

The X is huge compared to the Incredible and iPhone. More for a purse than a pocket, IMO.
