WOW that article has more holes than swiss cheese.

I agree there will NOT be a CDMA version of the iPhone, HOWEVER in December 2010 Verizon will be launching their LTE networks nationwide, at which point Verizon will get the iPhone.

That's odd cus the guys at my Verizon store told me just the other day that the Iphone is planned on being available anywhere between July and the end of 2010.

Not that it matters as I'm not an Iphone lover and can't wait for my Droid in August.

I'm looking forward to see what LG has in store.

The "guys" at the local [fill in name of carrier] store are as clueless as the rest of us. We all read the same rumor sites and these peons preach it with false authority.

Yes. The iPhone is coming out on Verizon between July 2010 and July 2012. I hope it comes out before December 2012. Damn you, Mayans!

I have a feeling that something this big can't be kept under wraps until whenever the announcement date is. Now there is chatter about the iPhone being the LTE launch device.

I half expect Verizon iPhone pictures to be leaked soon.

I have the droid and it does the job my friend love the droid and he has an Iphone. He cant stand how you can change the look of certain things. Apple needs to open their customization up a bit they are known for being a closed company

I read a tweet from Steve Jobs that stated Verizon will get the 4G iPhone soon than you think. Rumor has it the June Launch of the 4G iPhone will e with Verizon Hence why AT&T is doubling their term fees for iPhone users. Verizon's LTE network won't be ready but the phones will still work on the current network and will be ready for the December Launch of the LTE network. Also it was confirmed by a Taiwanese company that Apple ordered 24 million CDMA hardware units for the new iPhone. which means Verizon will get the iPhone real soon.

With that being said I am still getting an Android phone

I could really care less, because the Droids do everything the iphone does and a lot more.
