    Ha. Are consumers finally realizing that the iPhone 4 is inferior to the top end Android devices? Meh, probably not. Most of the kids who own an iPhone are probably already under contract and can't afford the ETF unless Mommy spots them the cash.

    I don't find it all that surprising. What was VZW pushing all fall and winter? LTE!!! Guess what the iPhone4 doesn't have? LTE!!!

    Not surprised, most won't switch over anyway. If you have an ATT iPhone, you have it mainly for the data ability (phone calls not being the priority), testing confirms that ATT is better than Verizon on data, just not on phone calls....so why switch?

    Sure, some people will switch and some already on Verizon may grab one, but to expect a mad rush like there was on the original iPhone may be Verizon's dream, but that's all it is.

    Prolly cuz there were plenty of pre-orders online and many are smart enough to wait 'til June.

    Or like me, gave up waiting and got a Verizon Smatphone last year.

    The iPhone is a wonderful tool, but a horrible phone.
    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

    why would someone who already the iphone4 on ATT pay all that money to switch to Verizon for the exact same phone?
    I bet we see a bit more of spike in sale when the LTE iPhone in the summer

    I pre-ordered my phone and it arrived on Monday. I've been holding off on my upgrade. I don't really care about it not being on the LTE network. I'm already used to the iphone from having one with AT&T, Still have it for another week or so. I don't care for the Android platform.

    uumm because they know they the Iphone 5 will be coming out at the end of june and will be screwed if they get the current version.
