virus/spware problem

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with a computer of mine that has been infected with viruses and spyware. I want to remove the hard drive and connect it to a different computer and run a scan to remove all the junk on it. Is there a program that's free that I could use to scan and clean it if it's a secondary hard drive? I'd be connecting it via USB onto a second computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Once its connected to another computer, it will be assigned a drive letter, and any antivirus/antispyware software can see and scan the drive. I would suggesting using AVG Free, Malwarebytes Antimalware, and Superantispyware to scan your drive. Once its clean on the secondary PC, put the hard drive back in the primary computer, and install the same 3 pieces of software, and run a 2nd scan.
