Nice, i've held off getting either until this **** was settled even though I plan to get the PS3 eventually.

Hell i've held off from spending on a new "BIG" tv because there didn't seem to be a resolution standard either. It looks like 1080p should be good for awhile.

Pioneer Elite Kuro and BR once I can free some money up.

Nice. I was at South Coast Plaza yesterday, and finally walked into the Pioneer store. I figured that since I didn't have the WAF for a new TV and I just took possession of the Yamaha, it was safe for me enter.

Those damn Kuro's look sweet.
