It's not the neighbors... **** them! I just don't want to set it up half assed, and I'm not going to spend a bunch of money on doing it right in a place I don't own.

Understood. My wife and I have been living in the same place for WAY longer than we thought.

About 4 years ago, I decided to pull my smaller speakers out of the closet and put them on the wall. I ran the cables under the carpet while she was away. Even though I didn't have a 7.1 setup, I ran 4 cables to the back...

The landlord finally decided to get us some new carpet, so the installers cut tracks in the padding for all of the cable runs I have.

When/if we ever move, I am leaving the cables under the rug!!! I am taking my new Yammy with me!!!!!
