Thread: Weird Facebook Hack. Help!!!

So one of my 'friends' has been sending me live chat on facebook. Hasn't asked for money but keeps telling me scam stuff, got mugged, stuck in London. He/She wont answer my personal quiz to know if it's him/her. So right now I'm not on the site.

So who has been hacked? Me or his account?

I'm pretty sure it's your friend's account that is hacked.

Also, whatever you do... don't click any links your friend sends you over the chat.

I clicked on one of those facebook links once. I then spent a loooong time cleaning out my computer because of unwanted links etc. that burrowed into my comp. Rule 1 for me now is do not "click" on anything on facebook. Also, if I want to "chat" I use the phone. I find chatting interferes with my important "stuff" such as perusing LGK all day!

Confirmed, he has posted he was hacked.

He probably got it from one of those crappy quiz applications.
