Thread: Well, I finally did it.

Sold the Kindle (for damn near the price I paid for it too) and bought an iPad. Taking delivery of it on June 11.

Make sure someone is home. UPS requires a signature for those bad boys.

Would you mind DLing Barnes&Noble's reader program (it's free) and telling me if it works okay or not? Thanks.

Without a photo of it in your hand...I don't believe you go!

That'll be one of the first apps I download. I know that the Kindle Reader will work too, as it already does on my iPhone.

If it's coming straight from Apple yes. UPS is "controlling" them by making the driver sign that he has the package in his truck and making sure the consumer signs that he/she recieved it.

UPS has a huge contract with Apple, everything but the Ipad requires atleast a signed note, but the Ipad needs a physical signature.

We will probably be getting one pretty soon as well. Can't wait really. Was looking at them at the Apple store on Sunday. They are impressive.
