I personally can't tell the difference between FireFox and Chrome. I like both so I use both.
I normally use Firefox at home but when I'm at work, I use Chrome. To each their own..

I prefer Firefox. I like their add-ons better than Chrome. Chrome is faster, but not enough to make me give up my addons.
And thats how you get ants!
Agreed. And on my 4 year old computer I don't even notice it being any faster.
Chrome is more stable. Each tab you open is a separate process, so if one crashes, the whole browser doesn't crash. Of course, that means that on old computers it hogs a lot of resources.
I stopped using firefox because it would crash too often.
From what I have read, Chrome is more secure then Firefox. Chrome "sandboxes" flash so it prevents or reduces malware from getting onto your system. Firefox has a memory leak. They have had since at least 2006 and it is still not fixed. The longer you leave Firefox open, the more it "leaks" by consuming more RAM. I think most of the time it is not a big deal but it is something to consider. I am checking out Chrome after using Firefox for many years. People seem to be talking about Chrome so I thought about trying it. I am not a techie. I am just an average user. Chrome seems to act and feel like Firefox with some differences. Chrome may be faster but I don't think it really makes that much difference. I didn't have many extensions on Firefox but the one I miss is an extension that allows me see if I have new mail at several websites (Gmail/Yahoo).
