I would like to hook up my bluray player and my Direct TV box to my internet access, however there is no jack at where my TV is at and I do not want to incur the cost to have one put it (logistically a bad place for it).
Is there a Wi-Fi hub/router that I can buy that will recieve signal form my modem, and that I can then ethernet to the direct tv box and the bluray player???

You might consider getting some of the Netgear powerline AV adapters (or any of the power line network adapters, I just have this brand). I have a lot of interference between my media center and my AP, so wireless is out. The powerline adapters work great, they just need an actual outlet, as opposed to a power strip. Adapter in the wall, run ethernet to a 100MB switch and everything else is connected to that. I've been really happy with it, of course YMMV.
I have one of those for my Xbox, and while it works, it doesn't work great and signal strength is so-so as a result. Ideally, you would want to have them on the same "grid" - not going through circuit breakers.Quote:
