    Default Windows Resume Loader Page Stuck

    Help - my wife's laptop is stuck with the Windows Resume Loader page. It gives 2 options: Continue with system resume or Delete restoration data and proceed with system boot menu. At the bottom of the screen, it says to press enter to continue. The problem is that there is no keyboard response. the touchpad also has no response. I have tried a USB mouse and Keyboard with no luck also.

    I have hard booted the laptop and still get the same screen. Laptop is running Windows 7.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Try booting from the Windows 7 DVD and see if your hardware responds. You can then try running the startup repair utility and see if it fixes it.
