Several users on our forums and on IRC report their Xbox 360 has been banned from LIVE today. We get reports of Toshiba-Samsung and Hitachi-LG drives banned with both Xtreme and even the newer iXtreme firmwares. However we also see many reports of people who are currently on LIVE and have no been banned (yet). No reports of banned BenQ drives yet (but few of these drives have been flashed yet).

I just want to make sure I'm folliwing along. This thread is about stealing, right?

It depends on who is using it. The person I know that has the mod done uses it strictly to have his games on a hard drive, cutting down on the extremely loud spinning of the optical drive.

But a majority of the people that have the mod, as well as modded original Xboxes, are scumbags and steal games via burned discs and/or hard drives.
