Thread: Anaheim Ice Beginner League

Hi guys,

I know most of you guys are in the LA area, but just wanted to inquire if anyone wanted to play in a beginner league at anaheim ice?

I just signed up. I've done a few clinics before at riverside, and a few scrimmages, but never any real games, so this should be exciting. The league is 8 games and 2 clinics for beginners (all other divisions are 10 games) for 290 bucks (275 if you have a team jersey already) plus USA hockey registration.

Games are on saturday nights, and the initial draft skate for beginners is on Saturday May 7th at 6pm. Registration is due May 2nd.

If anyone is interested in joining, feel free to request me as a teammate (name: Paul Macias)! I've been wanting to do this for a while, and finally made the decision to do it (having it saturdays really really helps too).

I would actually like to do this but I should learn how to skate first.

I can't skate super well, but I'm not terribly uncomfortable on the ice. I suspect most beginners will be about as good as I am, or worse, some better. I really have no idea. Should be fun though.

I need to learn how to skate first anyone know how hard it is to learn how to skate if I have never done it?

If you can, take a learn to skate class.

Are the games around that same time, 6pm?

I might wanna do it, if anyone else from the burbank area or anywhere close wants to ride out together.

Rookie games are around 8pm or so on saturdays.
