Thread: Is anybody putting an ice game together for Frozen Fury?

Every year someone tries to get a pickup game together the weekend of Frozen Fury.

Every year they realize that everyone is going to be too bloody drunk to show up, and troo few people are willing to try.

Just to add to Fish and Phos comments:

The problems are:
- There's a Tournament that same weekend with limited ice time available.
- Finding people willing to play at a scheduled time slot and date
- Location and Transportation to and from the rink. There are, to my knowledge, only 2 different Ice rinks.
- People feeling the need to NOT play hockey that weekend

I am in, anything to keep me out of the casinos during my time there is good for me.

The woman I spoke to at Sobe ice told me she has had calls for this in the past and that the best
thing to do is make reservations 6 months or more in advance. The other option is to have the game on the Thurs (day or night) before.

Even I miss the Drunk N Blurry series. *sigh* RIP Crystal Palace and group dinners @ Macayos.

so i take it there will be no frozen fury pickup?
