Thread: Anyone got Goalie gear?

My league team decided I needed to play goalie since we don't have one, and I'm the only one lanky enough to flail about and periodically stop pucks.

Anybody have / know where i can get some gear? Used is fine... I'm just currently using a a chest protector from the rink that doesn't cover my lower abdomin, and other areas, and I've gotten lucky so far.

If you have any ideas, let me know. Any insight would be much appreciated.

I've got leg pads, a glove, a blocker, and depending on the size of your grape a mask that I can sell you. PM me if you're interested. I'll post pics in a bit.

try craigslist, play it again and ask the rink what they have.

i also have a mask & mask bag for sale, it's an Itech and it awesome condition.I'll post the size later in the am when i get home from work.

I have some pants that have been just sitting here. They might be too big for you (xxl, i believe), but if you want them, they're yours. PM me.

I concur with SirJW...try Play it Again SPorts in Torrance/Redondo beach. Talk to Larry or Mike there and they will set you up. They know their stuff, and can help you out. Even better you may be able to pick up Jamie Storr's old pads or Steve Shield's pads
