Thread: Anyone here do the Saturday morning pickup at Aliso?

I'm moving to that area soon and would love to get on the ice more. Anyone ever skate that pickup? Any tips on the level of play or turnout? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I would recommend you call ahead and confirm that pickup is still on. I went down there this morning(to pick up some laces) and they had a high school clinic going on. I asked one of the employees about pickup and he indicated that pickup is now every other Saturday morning. As for skill level, I know a D2 skater that plays pickup there and a D5 skater, so its all over the spectrum as far as skill level. Hope that helps.
