Anyone play at Ice Town in Riverside?

When I move back to Cali in September I will most likely try to find a team to play on. I play goal.

Ice Town is really close by and a logical choice. Just curious if anyone has played or plays in their leagues.

If I have trouble finding an ice team, I may play roller. Anyone play at the Anaheim Hockey Club in Corona? Thoughts opinions helpful.

Just in case you are looking for a keeper...Ice is VERY expensive here in AZ (~$400-500 a season), so I play on a C-level roller team...

Lifetime: 2.76 GAA, .876 SAV%; 3 SO's; 42-10 record
Season: 2.54 GAA; .883 SAV%; 7-0 record

Doesn't get much cheaper here. In fact, I believe it is more unless you look
into places like Pasadena, but gas and parking will cost you.

Corona is fine. I might be able to hook you up with a few teams depending on the day/level you're lookin for.

Really? I spoke with the Ice town Director and he tossed out some very nice numbers...something like $325 for players, HALF price for goalies.

Unruely....I will drop you line as I get closer to the move.

yeah icetown is ok with its 2 rinks, they can change schedules slightly during the season.AHC too many tourneys disrupting weekend leagues, no adult weekend morning leagues,too many double headers,it's hot and i'm outta there.

there were only two tournaments, hence the doubleheaders. also, there was one division that a team moved into about four weeks into the season, so they had makeup games that caused more doubleheaders. an unusual occurence and tournament season is over.

weekend mornings are a kids hockey staple. it has been that way for as long as I can remember at every rink i have ever played at. why should ahc be different?

if its inconvenient for you, then fine. however, I remember you were one of the guys bitching about the place before it even reopened so you probably weren't ever gonna play after this season anyway.

AHC: That sucks...although I have to say...you ain't seen nothin in regards to playing in the heat. :)

Brea had weekend morning adult leagues and i was one of the peeps actually excited for it to open since it was even closer to me than the previous location

Quick question goalie gurus...

Will I be OK to play with a SK2000 and Itech HM30 mask? I mean, Ice town says you need to have USA hockey conforming equipment...

I played at Riverside for a few seasons but have recently moved to Ontario center ice. Give them a call and talk to Garth. The Hockey at Riverside has kinda dropped off and alot of peeps are moving to Ontario.Give them both a shot When you get out here I'm the goalie in Retro Battram gear. I still play pickup at Riverside on Sundays well not really pickup anymore the guys who used to frequent pickup decided to rent the rink to get rid of the riff raff. And yes you should be fine with the mask you have.
