Thread: August: LGK Beach Hockey Roller Pick-up Thread (****It's FREE!!!****)

It hasn't just been dirty rebound goals, but admittedly, a lot of them have been. Why do I get more those than anything else? Because I'm willing to stand in front of the net and have guys hack away. You may know someone who does that. It doesn't bother me, it's the game, and I score. I do what it takes.

You know what if i had more players on my team who were able to take the puck the puck to the net to create those rebounds i would get those goals too, however i don't and am forced to play playmaker, try and chip in goals as well as play defense.

Muddy is quite a skilled player. I will not take anything away from him there. But to say that we would fall apart without any one player is asinine. Especially considering we don't know who is going to be on what team exactly any given game. You're reachin there, and reachin far.

I didn't say your team would fall apart i said you would, if you didnt have Muddy there wouldnt be as many rebounds for you to hack in. And while we dont know who is going to be on each team the past few games have had very similar teams.

You've said since you went to ice that you have issues on sport courts now, so I don't really see what you're trying to say here, except to contradict yourself from previous statements.

I'm not sure where or when i've said that, am i as comfortable on it? No, but that doesn't change the fact that i will mop the sport court with you.

As for who wants to build a team around who, I'll give you that. You are known more for playing hockey, and I'm known for being a skank. And we both know that, should we have a poll, it would be a popularity contest and you would win. There is nothing that you could come up with that anyone would be able to trust regarding this. Again, you're reaching.

No it's not about reputation, you ask anyone who has played with both of us and you find the same answer. By the way i am a far superior skank to you as well, i just dont feel the need to brag about my sexual conquests every chance i get.

As for being a ringer, guys have tried to steal me from teams plenty of times in the past. Speculating on the number of times you've been asked to play for someone vs. I is again asinine.

That's fine, it's like asking how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, the world may never know.

Here's why I think you're pissed off:

Despite all the talk and all the back and forth, despite the fact that you are considered more of a hockey player on the board, every time we play I bring it and play better than I will ever get credit for.

You do just fine, all i'm saying is you saying you're a better hockey player is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think im some insanely talented hockey player, however just because you get a few dirty goals will never make you better than me. As said before when you are counted on as a playmaker, goal scorer and defensemen all at the same time we will talk.

Also, the fact that I'm obnoxiously loud probably annoys you, but that's a different thread all together.

Thats just the tip of the iceberg

You have not once schooled me, hell you havn't even schooled the players of lesser talent. If I recall correctly most of your goals are dirty rebounds and thats fine. However take Muddy off your team and you got nothing going for you, your team would not miss your absense however you take me off my team and the games would be even more lopsided than they already are. Ask anyone who they would rather build a team around, you won't like the results.

I was primarily a roller monkey until a little over a year ago and i'll school you on the sport court any day of the week as well.

As far as being a "better hockey player" you are hardly a hockey player, you are a guy who occasionally plays hockey, until you play in a ice league full time you are not a hockey player so don't flatter yourself. And even if you were the fact that i've been asked to be a ringer for teams probably more often than you (if you ever have) leads me to believe i am a supierier hockey play.

Whoa. So I'm actually going to have to take bets at the ice game?...

I play more roller than ice, so yes, I would be very interested in a SM game even though I know it will probably trash my equipment and my skates.

And..the above is some seriously good trash talk, should make the ice game interesting.
