Drawing sticks is cool, as long as everyone doesn't mind me playing with my friend.
I played in the High scool leauge this spring, and played 18AA california heat last fall, but he has not been on skates in like 4 years.
This goes for everyone else. If your linemates say something to the effect of "if you're tired change up" or "GET THE **** OFF THE ICE YOU ****ING **** SMOKING *******!!!! I PAID AS MUCH MONEY YOU **** ****ING **** ****-****", you might want to change up.
Quick shifts so the game plays faster everyone. Even if you aren't tired, you need to make a concious effort to change after you've been on the ice for a bit.
Thanks in advance.

Now go away.
I'll bring a large hook, like the ones people keep by their pools, so when he gets tired I can just drag him to the bench.
I wish I would have thought of this before. Not only will it keep people on short shifts (with use of force, if required), once I'm tired I can just have someone drag me to the bench.
Is anyone any good with a lasso?
