the one95 skates are pretty bad ass
OK. I was a sucker and purchased the Bauer One95 right handed 102 flex malkin curve. I will test it over the weekend and share my opinion of the stick.
Initial observations.
1) Stick is pretty light with a little more weight towards the blade.
2) Stick looks pretty cool in person. Gotta love a cool looking stick.
3) The Bauer Malkin pattern is pretty close to a Easton Heatley pattern.
4) The texture of the regrular grip appears to feel pretty soft to the touch. The extra-grip sticks will slightly-grab your hand when you slide your hand down the shaft

Update:
So I tried out my Bauer one95 Friday Pickup and yesterday in my two games.
The stick has beautiful mid-flex that rockets the puck with very little effort.
a) Lower hand placement little higher up on the shaft for shooting.
Using the non-grip stick. I will most likely have to tape down the shaft to add grip. Not a downside but not an upside.
The stick has a very soft feel when catching passes.
One downside is the blade's texture which does not hold tape very well when the tape gets wet. Fix lots of tape wax.
Stick of similar feel: Innovative 1100 tapered shaft with add-on rbk blade.
Overall I liked it.
have you ever used a vapor xxx lite? i'm a big inno 1100/dolomite fan but like the xxx lite. just wondering if it's more like the xxxx or one95 now that it's discontinued...
