Probably because nobody comes out to unlock the basketball courts. Its kind of BS, but if you buy the cards its less than $2/game, so not bad to have some fun and work on your skills.

Good point but still kinda sucks that other sports get more love...

The Burbank Rink needs your help! There is talk that the City might remove the rink to put a BMX park or some crap there... (see article link below)

Come out either this Friday night @ 6:30pm or Sunday @ 6:30pm for a pick-up game and to show them that there ARE people who want to play there. The last few pick-up games they have not charged a fee ($2 or $5 not sure); maybe since they feel bad that there arent many players. Who knows.

The last few times I've been there they haven't charged a fee... I am unsure what guys play that day but the guys I know play pick-up Sundays (with a Goalie) and are going to start going on some Fridays (this Friday yes since they are not playing this Sunday due to 4th of July weekend)

So everyone should come out and support this rink!
