Thread: Burbank pickup roller hockey! 4 Nights a week & FREE!

There's free pickup roller hockey in Burbank at a public park. I don't know the name of the park, but the address is 3211 West Victory Blvd., Burbank.

A friend and I played this past monday night and it was a lot of fun. Pretty good players and 1 goalie showed up.

They play on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights @ 6:30pm. It's run by the city, so they open the gates to the rink around 6pm I think. It's an outdoor rink. The surface is roll-on. Good times.

FOY Park

Sounds good to me. How long do they play for ? getting there in half an hour from downtown at 6pm is next to impossible.

I would be up for any night except Wednesdays or if there is a home game. I would imagine there is good lighting?

Yes its not a bad facility at all. It is lit pretty well. Its off Hollywood Way, about a mile from the Burbank Airport.
There is a real good bar a couple of blocks from the rink. It's called "The Office" they have almost every beer and the food is pretty good there. THey have lots of TV's with sports on them all the time. You will all be happy.

Dumb question but do they play with full gear ?

Jeezuz. That sounds fun, but I'm so rusty I'd be an embarrassment.

Might be the perfect kinda setup for me to get back in shape after the extended layoff.

So tomorrow night at 6:30pm? The Office after?
