Pat Sajak recommends that you clarify by adding the word "hockey" just before the word "stick" in the title and maybe after the word "ice" in your post.
Although Pat realizes that it wouldn't be neccessary considering the context of this site.

Ok then, lets switch gears here! What is the best hockey stick for under $40.00. If it matters, the hockey stick will be used for roller hockey.
Like anything else, it's all preference but this is much easier to generlize down since there is a limited supply of roller hockey gear as opposed to ice hockey gear. I've used ice hockey gear for roller for the longest time but I have used some Koho roller hockey sticks in the past and they're probably you're best bet for both using it on asphalt/sport court and affordablilty.
