Thread: Can't decide on a number...

when i first started i was #10 because my favorite player was Pavel Bure, then i was on a team and 10 was taken so i went with 68 for Jagr and i kept that for a long time then on my last team i wore #20 for Luc and on my current team i'm #15 by no choice.

I was 32 for a long time, and then in high school my football number was 49, so I switched to that. After I moved to Missouri, both numbers were taken, so I changed it to 31 because California was the 31st state.


Yes, I miss it that bad.

You just gotta pick a number that feels good to you. If it's your birthdate, the birthdate of your first born, your anniversary, if you love odd numbers, the year of your first car.

I wore 31 because I had a thing for curtis joseph...I was 12 when he beat the crap outta Tim Cheveldae.

and Grant Fuhr, back before I realized what the suspension was for. He was black, he had Stanley Cups, and mom approved like Jif. It was gravy.

anyway, then I got to high school and some douchenozzle football player decided to be a dick and take my number (it was jealousy.. they spent two years trying to get a hockey team for the school and I came along as an outsider of the clique and had it arranged in two months.) Coaches went with it, I picked a different number and it's been with me ever since.

if you play on a lot of teams, pick a number that nobody uses. then you don't have to worry about having 50 jerseys with the same color and different number.

I've been wearing 95 since I started many a year ago.

It didn't have any specific meaning at the time, but I'll never wear anything else.

I wear my Kings jersey to the pickups. It's blank, since i have trouble committing.
