Thread: Cheap Hockey Gear Help?

I would avoid play it again...very overpriced for used gear.

Try HockeyGiant.com or visit the store in Anaheim. Better yet-start scouring every Big 5 you see. They constantly mismark equiptment. Of course its a crap shoot as to what they will and wont have but more often then not I would find a lot of bargains on equiptment that was simply mismarked.

Choose a brand and check out the lower lines of packages they have... I've seen a set of shoulders, elbows, and shins go for less than $75.

Big 5 was brilliant. Found a really nice pair of skates for 60 bucks. The Play It Again Sports in Agoura Hills apparently "got out of hockey".
