Thread: December Pick-Up Game at Toyota Sports Center

I have played a few of these games now, and while not being quite a regular, im pretty sure my level of play is not in question really, and most of the regulars have a good feel for the others ability level.

I could see a "core" of the more skilled players being divided up onto separate teams to try and even out teams and then drawing sticks for the rest? I figure I would throw it out there...

Either way, I could care less about lopsided teams, it's not league and we are all there for a good time. Win, lose, or draw its well worth the drive from palmdale just to get out there.

But as a goalie, I want to see a plethora of shots coming my way. It's not fun to have to only face 10 shots or less. If it were league play and I only saw 10 shots, well that'd be a different story.

As a goalie... if, say, PTDP and Mudfisher are on different teams, then each team has a skill guy so you'll be facing an even amount of shots rather than you facing only 10 and Moto seeing 50.

you could also switch every 3 or 5 goals. unless it takes an hour to score said 3 to 5 goals! but what fun is it if you are still fairly new and you never get to touch the puck because the other team is stacked?

Which is why I suggested the "core" of skilled players be divvied up into separate groups.

Well, right now I am just on top of the ****ing world....because I am (sniff) the best...newcomer...

thaaaat's right (sorry El Fuego)...I want to thank my campaign manager (fish) even though I fired him for lewd suggestions...his heart was in the right place...my loyal supporters(apparently there are 49 of you) I will be wearing my crown at Sunday's game and doing my best beauty queen wave...cu all at the pregame
