Thread: December Pick-Up Game at Toyota Sports Center

I am definitely down for either date. I will make sure my nephew does not decide to start yakking on those dates (cause he will be in Las Vegas visiting his other grandparents)

So, what kind of gear do i need to get and where can I get it fairly cheap or can I rent it? All I have is a ****ty stick.

I'm in for either day, assuming we can secure it a week and a half ahead of time!!

Required: Helmet, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Pants, Shin Guards, Skates, Jersey, Socks.

Optional: Shoulder Pads

I think that covers it all.

Play It Again Sports is a good place to check for cheap used stuff... Craigslist is another option, but don't agree to pay anything until you see/smell the equipment.

I know several on here have also offered up used equipment they're no longer using... If you get a few pieces and are still missing others, post here and you'll more than likely be helped out.

I have a pair of pants I can donate, they're too big for me...unisex after all. You'll just have to tune out all the guys givin you hell about it.

The people have spoken...the 27th outnumbered the 26th (by a slim margin).

So the game will be the 27th at 8, I'll try for the NHL. This is a primo time slot so we should have no problem gettin 20.

Now, we need goalies...puckplayer? cutsman? Moto? NoSoup? Rusty? Quick? Anyone?

I would also recommend a cup, but that's just me.


I have one you can borrow, so long as you sterilize it afterwards, and you're comfortable wearing the equivalent of a 10-gallon hat on your crotch.
