I never understand why the LGK crowd doesn't do a weekly game somewhere, same place, same time. They seem to wait months in between their games. Maybe it makes the games more special when they are more rare ....

For years we did them every month. The board was much smaller & we had regular players. Things change, the regular players started playing adult league, the board got much bigger, I had more people that said they wanted to play but weren't as committed to a once a month thing. Renting the ice is far different than pickup. We were on the hook for that money & we got tired of having to cancel at the last minute because we didn't have enough players. So we started doing them less often - every couple months & it worked out pretty well. I don't handle them anymore so I can't speak for the current regime but I think it's safe to say that hasn't changed.

I'd play. I play down in Lakewood/Long Beach regularly, I would jump at a chance to do as mentioned above.......

Why don't we plan another LGK pick up game? The last one was a blast.

The Friday night games are 11:55pm - 1:30am .... Thanksgiving weekend? Almost certainly not. .... But try the weekend after that. Don't forget there's also the 12:45pm Friday game, which is on this Friday.

thanks for the heads up, the TSC website is useless...

I want to go to this tonight but I don't see it on the schedule and can't seem to get through to the rink by phone...anyone know if it goes on despite not being on the schedule?
