Thread: Friday night stick times?

I seem to remember someone mentioning that there's some rink down south somewhere that has Friday night stick times....I can't remember where, though, and I can't find it in the forums.

Anyone know which one? I have a hankering to play some hockey tonight....

Anaheim ice (ducks practice facility) has pickup from 10pm -11:30 pm. i think its about $15 or so.

That pickup sucks.

Check Valley Ice Center, They always got some stick time going on.

Just to avoid confusion, sticktime is not the same as pickup.

I've never heard of any SoCal rink with (deliberate) Friday night sticktime, as Friday evenings is almost always going to generate more revenue when used for public skates, league play, and pickup games.

The closest you might come is Glacial Garden in lakewood, where their scheduled pickup games are so often canceled (without notice) that so few people show up when it isn't canceled that it becomes a defacto sticktime.

Yorba Linda Ice Palace has stick time from 5 - 6 PM on fridays but is usually pretty crowded. I think It's $12.

Hmm, still no luck. I seem to remember it being some sort of late night thing...as in, starting at midnight or so.

Ah well. Maybe I'm just imagining things.
