Thread: Full contact adult leagues?

Anyone know any adult leagues in So Cal that allow full checking?

ive heard of one in ontario but dont know anything about it

I've heard of one called the National-something-or-other....I think LA has a team in it.

anyone have info i wanna play full contact hockey

Figure Skating - Ontario, CA - Ontario Ice Skating Center

Full Contact, 18+ Wednesday evenings. I've played a few seasons there. My schedule doesn't allow it anymore but I'm on good terms with Fish (he runs that league) so I can hop in whenever I can. He will allow you to play for $20 a game to start off but after 2-3 games, you'll be forced to pay for a season to play. Seasons are $250-$300 depending on the payment plan you choose and they include playoffs and stuff. The season started with the new year and Championship was last night so that's how long the season is.


I've given and taken some big hits there so that aspect is really fun but the two biggest cons are:
1) The worst ice you've ever skated on
2) The smallest rink you've probably ever skated on

So, if you really feel the need to put someone on their ass, it's a good value. Hockey league-wise, it's not, considering the quality of ice there is.

Yeah, that rink sucks balls..I played midgets there when i was like 15, and the rink was tiny then...i cant imagine full grown men playing full contact on that little ass rink.

Try Ontario Center Ice. Google that and you should find the website. The ice is pretty good but I've only skated on it twice before. They advertise a full checking league on the website so you can try that, too. I hear the Russian guy that runs it is a prick though.

I used to play there...never heard of a full contact league. The guy who runs it is actually pretty cool...it's Anatoli Semenov, the old Oiler and Duck....I'll look into it though, thanks

Hmm...I only see non contact adult leagues on that site...where did u see it?
