The best thing about it is that we have the choice. I remember when I first started playing that the only place to buy hockey gear was at Golden Bear in Lomita. They didn't have nearly the selection that we have available now.

So...me & the family went down there today. It was a great time. Jack showed up a few minutes early, stayed to sign everything everyone wanted who waited in line. They had $5 Kings t-shirts & $5 Kings hats.
Jack put on a shooting exhibition on this electronic net-thing where they had 9 lighted squares and a certain square would light up, then you'd shoot at that square. It was sick. He was messing around and busted a one-handed wrist shot that turned out the light on one of the top corner lights. Granted it was with a street-hockey puck, but still. One hand (top of the stick) and rifled it top corner. Then they raffled off the stick (we didn't win...)
On another note, I've been to Giant only a few times and dealt with the same people who were absolutely great. The manager guy (don't know his name, but he's bald...) is extremely helpful and has gone out of his way to help us the times we've been in there. I will continue to shop there...
