Thread: Give Blood Play Hockey Charity Tournament 2009

I'll play. I just don't think I can make the Friday game(s) unless they are at night.
Other than that, I can play Saturday and Sunday.
I will definitely give blood, but not on Fishmonger's terms. Not before a game.

Is this still a go? Or has it been scrapped?

i think it would be fantastic for a 'Team LGK' to be formed for this amazing cause, however, the tournament is a month away and at this point I do not have the time or desire to chase people and beg. I am concentrating my efforts toward more willing parties.

You will be added to the tournament free agent list and either placed on a team who needs to fill out their roster or added to a tournament free agent team. Your fee will be based on which team you land on, but for the weekend you will be guaranteed at least three games (maybe four) in the round robin format plus playoffs and the knowledge that many lives will be saved by the donation you gave just to come out and play a little hockey.

I would probably have played but I'm playing in the USA Inline Cup in Vegas the weekend before and that mo fo is one expensive tournament.

the schedule won't be completed until all the teams are set, but usually it's not until early afternoon/evening... especially for the adults. there are more teams expected this year so don't hold me to that.
