High school roller hockey - looking for players for Combo Program
The IHF is looking for more players for teams in the Combo Program!
What is the IHF?
Established in 1998, the Interscholastic Hockey Federation (IHF) is the governing body for all high school roller hockey in Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire.
What is the Combo Program?
The Combo Program is for student-athletes who want to play high school roller hockey but have no team to join due to:
a) Not having enough players at their own school to form a team (minimum 6 including goalie);
b) Being home schooled or enrolled in another non- traditional high school program;
c) Being cut from a "pure" team (all players from the same high school).
Combo teams are put together by the IHF Board with consideration given to geographic location and skill level. Games are played at all three The Rinks-Inline facilities in Irvine, Corona, and Huntington Beach.
What skill levels are welcome?
All skill levels from beginner to advanced are welcome to sign up. However, whether or not there are Combo teams at all levels (Varsity, JVA, JVB, JVC) will depend on the number and skill level of the players that sign up.
How much does it cost?
The fee is $325 for 15 games and up to 15 practices. All players must also have annual memberships for The Rinks ($40) and AAU ($12-$14). Home and visitor jerseys are provided for a $50 deposit which will be refunded when the jerseys are returned.
How do I sign up?
Registration forms are available on the IHF website (IHF High School Roller Hockey Home Page). Fill out the information and scan/email the form to email@example.com or FAX the form to (949) 559-9948. Please note that submitting the form does NOT guarantee a spot on a team.
