Thread: How far are you willing to travel for Pickup?

Just curious, I see some people making pretty long commutes. Love to get some of you up to Oxnard for some Pickup.

about 1/2 hour in all directions. fortunately most are at TSC.

regularly about 5 minutes...occasionally a 30 hr jaunt might be okay.

For an LGK game, I'd make a nice hour trek. maybe more if I carpool.

I used to go from Redondo Beach to Valencia for a Saturday night public pickup. Can't remember what that took. An hour, I suppose?

How far is Oxnard from Valencia?

The drive is no problem, but it would depend on how late the games were.

This is the problem that I face with the TSC games. I would be willing to make the trek from San Diego it's the times that make it impossible for me. I'm an old man and can't stay out that late!

I do really want to participate in a LGK game some time. I would love to show you all what a great hockey player I would be if it weren't for my poor stick handling, passing, shooting and skating!

Ummm... I will cross state lines for pick up games. The game on the 16th I will be traveling from the Palo Alto area, literally just to play in the game.
